Bay Area Lutheran Homes

Bay Area Lutheran Homes, Inc. operates Woodside Lutheran Home, Woodside Oaks, Woodside Manors, Woodside Haven and Woodside Home Health Agency. The Corporate Delegates, from area Lutheran churches (ELCA), elect a Board of Directors, which forms the Governing Body. The over-all management and operation of the complex are the responsibility of the Executive Director. The active management of the nursing home is the responsibility of the Administrator.

The Corporation functions on the premise that the service it renders demonstrates its beliefs in the Christian dignity and worth of every individual. Its purpose is to meet the needs of the elderly through well-equipped and well-maintained facilities, which are properly staffed by qualified personnel. Our policies have been established to ensure fair treatment to all those persons whom we serve.

We exist as a sponsor of a broad range of housing accommodations, seeking to foster a “caring community” among older adults. There are still many avenues of healthcare yet to be pursued and our Corporation is very supportive of our desire to keep abreast of “what is going on our there”.
